“I’d Still Choose You” came from looking back at the life Amber and I have built together—not just the best moments, but all of it.
When you’ve been with someone long enough, your story becomes more than the day you met, the wedding, the family photos, and the memories you like to share. It also includes seasons you never expected: changes, struggles, mistakes, distance, growth, forgiveness, and finding your way back to one another.
That’s where the idea for this song came from.
I started thinking about a simple question: If I knew then everything I know now—every high, every low, every difficult chapter and every beautiful one—would I make the same choice?
And the answer was still yes.
“I’d Still Choose You” is about a love that has been tested by real life. It isn’t saying we got everything right. We didn’t. It’s saying that after everything we’ve experienced together, I can look at Amber today with a much deeper understanding of what choosing someone actually means.
When we first chose each other, we couldn’t possibly know everything that choice would eventually hold. Today, that choice carries the weight of years together, raising our family, building a home and a life, weathering difficult seasons, making memories, and continuing to grow individually and together.
That’s what inspired the song. It’s not just about falling in love with someone once. It’s about choosing them again—with your eyes open, knowing the entire story.
If I could go back to the beginning knowing where every road would lead, I wouldn’t ask for a different story.
I’d still choose you.

“Amber, I’d Choose You Again” (Revised Timeline Cut)
Country / Acoustic – Storytelling
Bradley Miller
⸻
Verse 1
November night, 11-11-11
Screen lit up, didn’t know what was comin’
Just a message, just a name on a line
But Amber… you changed mine
From late-night talks to real-life plans
Two strangers turnin’ into “us” by chance
Didn’t know where it all would go
Just knew I didn’t wanna let you go
⸻
Verse 2 (Dating Years)
You on that hood outside my parents’ place
Streetlight glow on your face
Laughin’ like the world could wait
Yeah… I knew right then somethin’ wouldn’t fade
First kiss in my office, nervous and real
One of those moments you don’t have to feel twice to feel
Somewhere between then and now
Forever started showin’ how
⸻
Chorus
Amber, through every road we’ve been on
Every right turn, every went-wrong
Time wrote a story we couldn’t plan
But I’d go back and do it again
Through the fall and the breakthrough too
Every version leads me to you
Yeah life might change, but one thing won’t
Amber… you’re the one I won’t let go
⸻
Verse 3 (Building Life)
2013, we said “I do”
Didn’t have it all, just me and you
Then 2014 brought a brand new light
Paxton changed our world overnight
And 2020, another piece
Maverick came and made us complete
Two boys runnin’, laughter loud
That kind of love that makes you proud
⸻
Verse 4 (Your Life Together)
You with those “eye curtains” tryin’ to hide
But I’ve always seen what’s behind
Every look, every little thing you do
Is every reason I still choose you
And when I say “it’s a joke,” you roll your eyes
But that smile always gives you away every time
It’s the little things no one else can see
That mean everything to me
⸻
Bridge (Strip it down)
2022… we lost our way
Two hearts bent, but we didn’t break
Stood on the edge of letting go
2023… we chose to stay
Found our way back through the pain
Built somethin’ stronger than before
⸻
Final Chorus (Lift)
Amber, through every high and low
Every place we almost let go
We’re still standin’, stronger than before
And I don’t question it anymore
2024 and a brand new home
Proof that love can rebuild what’s gone
After everything we’ve been through
I still… I always… choose you
⸻
Outro (Soft landing)
Got Wally in August, eight weeks old
Little paws runnin’ through our home
From 11-11 to where we stand
I’d do it all over again
Yeah if forever’s somethin’ we get to do
Amber… I’d still choose you.
